Day 10 – Look Closely!

The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes. ~Marcel Proust

Sometimes inspiration comes magically, and sometimes my inspiration deserts me, I have to go and search for whatever treasures are in store. Today you could say that my muse was out hiding, enticing me to play hide and seek. But in no time at all, the muse was discovered. I just had to find it myself.

All I have to do is step outside and start exploring and look closely at my surroundings. Sometimes it’s just a matter of stepping outside that proverbial box.

On these days that my muse hides, I have no clue what today’s picture will be. That’s when the challenge sets in, because if you examine closely enough, everything becomes a possibility. Sometimes having too many choices can be daunting. So I have to narrow my perspective through the eyes of my lens. Several subjects later, I finally had my “that’s it!” picture. Finally!

Today’s mystery what is it?!? picture might be an easy one, but the subject itself is so fascinating that I left the picture as is and didn’t crop in as closely as I normally do. Rest assured, I’ll work on acquiring some mind-challenging pictures for future posts.

What Is It?!?

What Was That?!? Yesterday’s Picture

I was inspired by one of my favorite things – books! More specifically, the picture is the side of the book’s pages. Better yet, it’s a book about Leonardo Da Vinci!

Thanks for all of the likes and new followers! Knowing that people like this project will motivate me to continue taking these somewhat odd pictures. It’s much easier taking landscape photos, but I do enjoy a good challenge!
