Day 11 – Looking Out, Looking In

If we could see the miracle of a single flower clearly, our whole life would change.
– Buddha

Although my muse hid from me the better part of the day yesterday, it sure did stick around for the rest of the day. Little did I know that I’d discover a new vehicle for photography and the results were amazing. Yes, I even gave myself a pat on the back. (Especially for holding an already-heavy camera with an external flash, it gets really heavy after an hour or so!)

Eleven days into this project, I don’t find that I’m running out of ideas, rather, the “idea bowl” (aka my muse) continues to grow and grow. Each day I feel a sense of achievement, and that feels good. And thanks to last night’s burst of creativity (and lots of camera flashes), I now have several images to use in the future.

Whether I’m looking out or looking in, there’s beauty and depth to everything I see. With the help of my camera and lens, I share my perspective with you.

So are you ready for today’s what is it?!? mystery picture? Do you know what it is? Simply leave a comment to guess!

What Is It?!?

What Was That?!? Yesterday’s Picture

Inspiration for yesterday’s picture was fleeting, but after several attempts with several subjects (I’m only a tad bit of a perfectionist, LOL), I finally focused on the beauty of a blue pane of glass from an outdoor lantern.
