Day 15 – A Macro World View

Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better. – Albert Einstein

I’ve always been intrigued with the macro view of the world, how you can look through a microscope at pond water and suddenly see all of this microscopic life, and it’s swimming! But you wouldn’t see that without the microscope.

Such is the same with taking photographs with a macro lens. Suddenly it’s not the petal of the flower you’re looking at, it’s the tiny little bug that you didn’t see through the lens but there it is! And a piece of a spiderweb …

What Is It?!?

What Was That?!? Yesterday’s Picture

Yesterday’s picture was inspired by what I discovered through my macro lens – that this ordinary flower’s petals actually have holes at the ends! Kind of looks like tentacles to me.
