Day 107 – Teach the World

I’d like to build the world a home
And furnish it with love
Grow apple trees and honey bees
And snow white turtle doves

I’d like to teach the world to sing
In perfect harmony
I’d like to hold it in my arms
And keep it company

I’d like to see the world for once
All standing hand in hand
And hear them echo through the hills
For peace throughout the land

That’s the song I hear
Let the world sing today
A song of peace
That echoes on
And never goes away

I’d like to build the world a home
And furnish it with love
Grow apple trees and honey bees
And snow white turtle doves

I’d like to teach the world to sing
In perfect harmony
I’d like to hold it in my arms
And keep it company

Songwriters: B. BACKER, B. DAVIS, R. COOK, R. GREENAWAY

Today a simple message of peace, a song that reminds me of childhood and a nice, cold Coca-Cola, of times didn’t seem so out of control. Peace, love, and hope to all.

Today’s mystery “what is it?!?” picture was inspired by pure desperation, as I could not figure out what subject to photograph (call that lack of inspiration!). I even photographed something entirely different, but didn’t like the composition, color, or feel. So here we are with this subject instead. Can you tell? Do you know?

What Is It?!?

What Was That?!? Yesterday’s Picture (Day 106)

Not a lot of guesses for yesterday’s picture, it looked like an old tablecloth to one, and an old straw hat or purse to another. What you saw was a section of paper made with fibers and stitched with some sort of string (probably raffia). Finally I found a use for one! 🙂
