Day 130 – Tangle Free

Continuous effort – not strength or intelligence – is the key to unlocking our potential. – Winston Churchill

I suppose that this quote relates to the other, “practice makes perfect.” But alas, does perfection truly exist? Should we aspire to be something that isn’t achievable? Persistence, not perfection, is what shapes my life.

Today’s mystery “what is it?!?” picture was inspired by a suggestion made by my 10-year old son, Ian. Let’s see if he can tell what it is now. What about you? Can you tell? Do you know?

What Is It?!?

What Was That?!? Yesterday’s Picture (Day 129)

Well, yesterday was a first (or it’s been long enough that I don’t remember), not one single guess on the mystery picture. So this section will be mighty short today! But first, some background on the image. I took this photograph many months ago, just about the start of this project, but I wasn’t the least bit happy with the outcome. So it has sat around with other not-good-enough images, only for me to look at it in a new perspective. Just a tad crop made the image move to the good-enough pile, and thus, ended up as yesterday’s picture. So what was it? A comb, looking at it from the top.
