Itsy-Bitsy Teeny Flower

Sometimes a weed’s flowers are just as pretty as the flowers we plant. This is probably the tiniest, intricate pink flower I’ve seen yet.

  1. Seems flowers and weeds are sprouting everywhere, and we can find beauty even among the weeds. For some reason, this summer I’ve found an interest in weeds. When I drive down the country side and see the weeds that grow in ditches or in an unplanted farmer’s field, my mind travels to yesteryear and what uses women found for weeds, i.e. medicinal and others. Great photo of the tiny flower. 🙂

    1. Thank you! We have some beautiful weeds growing along Interstate 10 here, and I wish I could pull over and take a photo. Everything has a purpose, including those weeds, just seems like our ancestors used that knowledge. 🙂
