Day 196 – What Is Art?

What is Art? It is the response of man’s creative soul to the call of the Real. – Rabindranath Tagore

I’ve had a very productive day today, what a great way to start the week. I’m hoping to keep up the momentum all throughout the week! This is usually what happens when I have a documentation deadline looming, I work great under pressure. Go figure!

Today’s mystery “what is it?!?” picture was something I looked at and thought, “this would make a great mystery pic!” So now it’s your turn to guess. Do you know? Can you tell?

What Is It?!?

What Was That?!? Yesterday’s Picture (Day 195)

Was it a menorah reflected on a table? Not a menorah. How about flames in a grill? Not that either. “Fairies dancing through the mists of late evening?” If only I could get them to let me take their picture! 😀 Candles in a church? Not candles. How about the wire on a spiral bound notebook? Not that but it does have a spiral. Is it a black plastic vacuum cleaner hose? Nope. So what was it?!?

What you saw was a spring on a bicycle seat, which my friend, Scotty, guessed while talking to me on the phone. (See Scotty, you got mentioned!) Keep peddling!

    1. Glad you liked the quote! I try to find quotes that have something to do with how I’m feeling or thinking that day. I, too, like lookin’ at what I’m cookin’! (Great quote, too!) Chicken and dumplings, oh my! 😀
