A Word a Week Challenge: Unexpected

Unexpected: To see golfers in Ireland playing golf around an old ruin. Do you get extra points for hitting the ball through the windows?!?

  1. Ha, what is it about golf courses? When I read this I immediately remembered one on the Thanet coast nr Botany Bay which has a ruined folly in it, most odd, but interesting to take photos of the golf course through the windows – or not!!

  2. Love visiting ruins and walking around them.

I’m inviting you to our Monday photo link-ups called Travel Photo Mondays, come and join us with your beautiful imagery

  3. Nice one Schelley
What a really cool photograph of a bunch of golfers.
Just a shame whoever was building that house in the background never finished it. Shoddy workmanship.

  4. Saw this in my reader and thought, ‘Ooh, that’s nice’. When I got here I thought, ‘hmm, familiar’ and realised my Altered Ego, Le Ark had already left his bandaged paw print., Damn! I so wanted to write that line about the unfinished building.
I am not sure if I need to continue taking the pills or stop! Lol. πŸ™‚
    Nice one Shelley.
