Day 200 – Two Hundred Funky Pictures

I attempt an arduous task; but there is no worth in that which is not a difficult achievement. – Ovid

Today’s “what is it?!?” picture is a milestone as it is day number 200 of my project, which means this is the 20oth funky picture posted! I remember thinking at day 26 or so that we’d never make it to 60, and then that passed. So 100 was the new unfathomable goal. We passed that. Now we’re at 200! Wow. Only 165 to go. Honestly, I’m having a lot of fun with this blog, and I hope you are, too!

So back to today’s mystery picture. Do you know what this is? Can you tell?

What Is It?!?

What Was That?!? Yesterday’s Picture (Day 199)

I did something sneaky. Again. (LOL) If you were to look through “The Gallery of Funky Photos” (or comb way, way back through the archives), you would see a picture that looks exactly like this one – except for the color. Yes, I have posted this before. But apparently the color changed the perspective.

Was it a gilt decoration, maybe on a chair or cabinet? I replied, “Not gilt, not on a chair or cabinet. (Not with a goat, not on a boat … )” Which clever Brenda quickly returned with, “With a mouse or a house? Is it part of a fancy painting frame? Or an Aztec headdress? Perhaps it’s part of Pandora’s box, and now tomb raiders are researching your address, planning to bust in, guns blazing… Oh, Oh, I hope you’re okay!! :-)

After I confirmed that I had left Pandora alone this time, Brenda asked, “Part of a harp? Wonder woman’s headdress?” No, not part of a harp or Wonder Woman’s headdress. (But wouldn’t that look wonderful?)

Was it part of a piece of cake or a broach? Not cake nor a broach. So what was it?!?

What you saw was a piece of colored glass. 😀 The original color was blue. Check out Day 10 to see the original.
