Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it. – Confucius
Perhaps the most important lesson I’ve learned from having this blog is that everything, and I do mean everything, has beauty, some hidden treasure, just waiting to be discovered. Okay, I’ve also learned a lot about taking these macro photographs and the importance of continuing the learning process. So two big lessons learned! Today’s mystery “what is it?!?” picture is kind of abstract (to me), you might guess it right away. Can you tell? Do you know?
What Is It?!?
What Was That?!? Yesterday’s Picture (Day 209)
Easter Grass, twice guessed, but still not Easter grass. Melisa commented, “At first glance it looks like Piknik potato strings, still in the process of being weighed and packaged maybe. Under my four microscopic eyes, they look like loose ends of thin strips from a woven polypropylene bag or sack for rice. Sorry for my complicated adjectives. “ Alas, none of the above. Shredded packaging stuff? Not that. Straw or hay for rabbits? Not straw or hay. What about the hairy stuff you find on corn? Ding ding ding! Yes!
What you saw was the hair/strings on corn.
