Lost my connection when I was about to post my comment! The only red bug I know of is the lily beetle which does horrible damage to lilies. This chappy looks like a long-legged ant!
He shows up once a year, he’s one funky ant! At least that’s what I think this is. Always around the same area. Loves my chives when they flower. Weird!
That is truly a funny thought! But I can see why, my mind too, is a strange place! I would think he tastes like a hot pepper. Glad you like the photo. Thanks! 🙂

I’ve just had lunch, so I’m not sure where this thought comes from, but I wonder if he tastes like an orange or if he is spicy like a hot pepper.
