Day 224 – Driving Force

Water is the driving force of all nature. – Leonardo da Vinci

Today’s mystery “what is it?!?” picture is ready for your guessing pleasure. Do you know? Can you tell?

What Is It?!?

What Was That?!? Yesterday’s Picture (Day 223)

Whenever I’m out and about with my camera (which is just about everywhere), I always try to find good “what is it?!?” photo opportunities, which is exactly what I did yesterday at the Tallahassee Museum. Although there were many perspectives, nobody guessed the mystery subject. Was it a distorted seedhead? Or perhaps a crocheted doily? Neither. A snake? Not a snake. A raspberry of an unusual color? Not that either. Cauliflower? Not cauliflower. Snake skin or side of a rock? Nope. The side of dried up corn? Nope. The side of dried fruit? Nope. Is it indoors or outdoors? Outdoors. The side of a tree seed pod? Not that. So what was it?!?

What you saw was a Vulture’s knuckle above its claw. Pretty neat, eh? The vulture had landed above us in the aviary so I was able to get this macro shot. 🙂

  1. Groan!! That was very difficult Schelley, though not dissimilar to a chicken’s foot. I thought I recognised the texture 😉

Tonight’s is also hard, but my guess is some kind of prism?

        1. No tears, Brenda! The game is all about sharing perspectives, not winning. And determination! Look that up in the dictionary and I bet your picture is right there. Kudos!
          P.S. I’ll try to make today’s a little easier! I don’t even have a picture yet …:D
