Day 231/365

Good things happen to those who hustle. – Anais Nin

Today’s mystery “what is it?!?” picture is a subject that would be quite easily identified by viewing the color version (I think, sometimes you never know), but takes on a different dimension when viewed in black and white. Do you know? Can you tell?

What Is It?!?

What Was That?!? Yesterday’s Picture (Day 230)

Quite the guessing game we had with yesterday’s picture, both here on WordPress and over in Facebook land. Was it the head of broccoli? No. Closeup of mold? No. Chocolate cookie? “It looks like a chocolate chip in the front of the pic.” Yum, but not a chocolate chip or cookie. Closeup of carpet? Not that either. A piece of chocolate cake? Not chocolate cake. Inside or outside? Inside. A rock? Not a rock. “Looks like moldy bread, too.” Not that. The top part of a blacktop road? Hmmmm, no. But interesting perspective. “Is it something metallic?” Yes, but not in the form of metal. Metallic fabric? No. “Not chain mail …” nope, not that either. Rust? Not rust. Is it food? Not food. “Is it troll arm hair?” No, Brenda, not troll arm hair. 😉

Clue: I’ve posted this subject before, just in color, but it was a slightly different image. So what was it?!?

What you saw was eye shadow.

To see this eye shadow in color (and to read all of the guesses for that picture), check out Day 61 – Pixie Dust.
