What Was That?!? Yesterday’s Picture (Day 242)
Was it the doohickey that lowers toast? Not that doohickey. Is it metal? Yes. Is it part of a case or a suitcase or briefcase? No. Is it part of R2D2? Ha ha, no. Brenda continues, “Is it the silver tooth of a laughing troll?” Snicker snicker, he he. No. A clue: You would find this subject just about anywhere. Is it a frame? Not a frame. It serves a purpose, it is part of … Kitchen tool? Not a kitchen tool. “Is it a mind control tool (read: remote control)?” Not remotely a tool, ha ha. Shahn asked, “Is it the side of a hand can opener?” Not that either. Girish commented, “It’s actually very sexy if you turn it sideways 
Is it a knife sharpener?” Not a knife sharpener.
So what was it? What you saw was part of a door handle, the “lever” type that you push the handle down to open the door.
