Day 342/365 – Star Shine

You can be the moon and still be jealous of the stars. – Gary Allan

We’re back on the black and white renditions, both yesterday’s and today’s pictures demonstrate how an image changes when you alter/remove its color. And on that note, today’s mystery “what is it?!?” picture is ready for your guessing pleasure. Do you know? Can you tell?

What Is It?!?

What Was That?!? Yesterday’s Picture (Day 341)

Y. Prior’s perspective, “#341 – this looks like pottery or imported specialty glazed tile” Not pottery or glazed tile. Jude asked, “It has a sort of giraffe pattern about it – so is it a pottery giraffe?” Not a pottery giraffe. And then, “erm… just read the previous comment that it is NOT pottery, So is it a MATERIAL giraffe?” Not a material giraffe either. But I do agree, it does have a giraffe-type pattern! So what was it? What you saw was the pattern on a baking potato. Pretty neat, eh? 😉 IMG_9667-2

  1. Looks like some kind of fibre – braid possibly? Or a rag rug?

And I have never seen potatoes with a giraffe pattern, though we do get something called Tiger bread in supermarkets which has a similar pattern now I think about it.
