Weekly Photo Challenge: Perspective

2013_03_28_3385 2013_03_28_3382

Now if this challenge isn’t literally “right up my alley,” I don’t know what is. My blog, What Is It?!? – A Project in Perspective, is all about – yep, you guessed it – perspective! For this challenge, here are two different (and never before posted) perspectives of a former “mystery subject,” but this time, with the answer. 🙂

What you see is the side of a glass pane of an outdoor lamp. This subject generated so many different perspectives (aka “guesses”); if you want to see what all of the guesses were, check out the blog post here. This time around, I converted the images to black and white.

To see other interpretations of Perspective, check out the Daily Post’s Weekly Photo Challenge here.

  1. So beautiful, Shelley! And I am so happy that you have provided us with the answer. No brainstorm today; just starting the weekend with two beautiful shots to make us feel relaxed. What a perspective! 🙂 Thanks much, friend!

    1. Thank you, Fabio! Consider it y’all’s “freebie” of the year. So glad you like! This was one of my favorite subjects because it did look like something totally different than glass, even to me. 😀 Have a delightful weekend!

  2. Schelley, Thanks for the “freebie” of the year! Afterwards, we’ll have to prepare our spirits, sharpen our minds, and throw the dices to guess “What Is It”. In spite of all the hurdles that you put on our way, no complaints! At least we will have your GORGEOUS photos to soothe our eyes! LOL. Take care and enjoy a wonderful weekend in FL! 🙂

  3. I thought of you immediately I saw this week’s challenge and wondered what you’d post. Thank goodness you have given us the answer, I don’t think my pea-brain can cope with any more guessing this week 😉
Have a great weekend Schelley, let’s hope the sun shines on all of us.
    Jude xx
