Our neighbor has a big clump of “these beauties” at the edge of their yard but I gave up trying to be a Little House On the Prairie kind of girl, the heat and the mosquitoes was overwhelming trying to collect those wild berries, and they were so small that it was not worth the effort. At least we don’t get malaria from mosquitoes, not around my area anyway. The Ingalls family all got sick with it (I think Laura was maybe 7) and they all nearly died of it! I got our 2 tame bushes de-weeded for the most part and they have been producing much better for the past couple of years!
