The 4th of July is wildly celebrated here in America. I always enjoy photographing fireworks, you never know what you’re going to end up with! Taken at Southwood in Tallahassee, Florida.
P.S. Notice the moon appearing in some of these shots!

They were indeed incredible in person! We had prime seats, too, and for once, Tallahassee weather in July was a rare treat, nice and cool. Boom! Bam! Lights in the sky. 😀

Beautiful! I’ve tried a couple of times now to get some fireworks with my iPhone5 but it’s no go! It may be a camera but it does have limitations!

Thank you, Linda! Yes, the iPhone won’t be able to capture these like a DSLR. I forgot my tripod, so only got a few decent shots. But the video of fireworks on the iPhone 5 is pretty good (hubby shot). 🙂

Yep, I noticed the BIG difference between photos and video on my iPhone when it came to fireworks! Oh, well, perhaps I need more?! HA! 😀

Thank you, Marilyn. I was trying so hard to get a decent picture of the moon before the fireworks (I had forgotten my tripod), so it wasn’t until the big blasts of light that the moon wasn’t one big blur. 🙂
