This building in San Antonio, Texas, looks like an optical illusion when viewed directly in front, the building seems to converge with the sky. But it’s just a facade – the photograph below shows the true architecture.

Macro Monday | 11-03-14

These spider lilies pop up in late summer/early fall around Tallahassee, Florida, and surrounding areas. Southerners have other names for these red flowers, including surprise lily, magic lily, resurrection lily, red spider lily, and naked lady. But spider lily is the term used most where I’m from. These are going crazy this year!
