Back in 2009, we ventured to Kennedy Space Center in Titusville, Florida, to watch the first-ever (and only) launch of the Ares 1 rocket. Our mandatory arrival time was 5:00 a.m., which was way early; however, Mother Nature performed some beautiful sky art in the wee early morning hours over the rocket garden.

I have to give credit to KSC for coming up with the name “rocket garden,” but I’m certain I would have come up with something snazzy like that, too! HA! 🙂 So glad you enjoyed this photo. I was amazed seeing the vast difference in my photo skills between 2009 and now, but at least I had this one “cool” shot of the sunrise. And several awesome shots of the rocket in air! BOOM! Thank you, my friend. 🙂

Yes, we have but we didn’t have time to see that exhibit. We usually go whenever we have guests from out of town. We definitely will be back to check it out. 🙂

Atlantis is magnificent! You will LOVE it, I think an entire day could be spent just on that exhibit alone.
