Oh, sweet stamens, on your pretty purple flowers, a raindrop ready to release, I do believe I’m in love with nature.
And my Zeiss lens. 🙂

Thank you! 🙂 I lucked out and found a used Zeiss (I wasn’t even looking for one), and I can vouch for that glass, it’s spectacular!

Nice one!!! They don’t often come up. I have borrowed my friends Zeiss lenses a couple of times when we’ve both been photographing music events and they’re just amazing! Such clean and crisp images with wonderful bokeh 🙂

I don’t know HOW the universe led me to this Zeiss, I wasn’t looking, just reading an article about the best lenses to have, and of course, Zeiss was listed. I clicked one of the links, which took me to eBay, where I stumbled upon this used lens. It was meant to be, I am in love with the lens. I still have to get used to manual focusing, but wow, what crisp pictures. It was worth the money, and it wasn’t nearly as expensive as a new one!

Definitely fated!! It’s one of those serendipitous moments that you never forget 🙂 I must say that I often get the most crisp and clear images from manual focus! Particularly great for macro flowers and insects 😀

Definitely! And I have thanked the universe profusely each time I use my camera. The lens has not come off yet. Last night I took pictures of a spectacular sunset, and wow, on camera, looks amazing! Hope it’s the same when I download. 🙂
