You never know what you’re gonna’ get. Can’t help but quote good ole’ Forrest today, since riding around Savannah, Georgia, and learning her history.
Think of today’s mystery “what is it?!?” picture as one of those tasty chocolates. Is it nutty? Caramel? A chocolate covered cherry? I assure you it’s not chocolate! But do you know?

It was quickly identified as a sugary something, but what? It looked wet, but wasn’t. It wasn’t creme brûlée. Nor marzipan. Not brown sugar. Yes, it has sugar crystals, but what is it? Finally Gail guessed correctly: cinnamon sugar. Specifically, my niece’s piece of cinnamon sugar toast. Yummy!
