Day 361/365 – Imagination Creation

Imagination disposes of everything; it creates beauty, justice, and happiness, which are everything in this world. – Blaise Pascal

Another black and white rendition of your daily mystery “what is it?!?” picture is now ready for your guessing pleasure. Can you tell? Do you know?

What Is It?!?

What Was That?!? Yesterday’s Picture (Day 360)

Brenda mused, “Looks like plaster. Or frosting. Or glue.” Not plaster, frosting, or glue. Michelle Marie thought, “Ice on a plant.” Not ice on a plant. Then Brenda came back and guessed, “Paint? Fairy wings? Fallen dreams?” One of those gets a ding ding ding! Yes indeed, what you saw was paint. Y. Prior said, “well i was going to guess frosting too – but I can see the paint! – nice mystery pic!” Thank you! 😀 … Can you believe we’re down to the final four?

Day 177 – Ahead of the Game

I hope that I may always desire more than I can accomplish. – Michelangelo

It’s a good thing that I’m way ahead already, too many desires, not enough time.

Today’s mystery “what is it?!?” picture is ready for your guessing pleasure. Can you tell? Do you know?

What Is It?!?

What Was That?!? Yesterday’s Picture (Day 176)

Another picture with many perspectives. Is it mold or fungus growing on a tree? No. A penny? Not a penny. “It looks like a copper bottomed pot with that unique green tarnish copper gets.” Not copper. “Is it a lava pool digesting lichen?” Ha ha, no. “A recent shot of Mars sent via black hole twister tv-link?” Triple ha ha ha, not that either! How about green, orange and brown jigsaw puzzle? Not a jigsaw puzzle. “Some completely corroded iron something, like a drum?” It is corroded, but not iron. “Rust on something?” “…Today’s looks like chipped paint on some kind of surface …” Which both of these last guesses rang the winning ding-ding-ding bell!

What you saw was a portion of a painted ceiling of a fort on Tybee Island, Georgia; it had corroded over the years due to the sea weather and other elements, so partial rust, partial paint peeling.
