 Funk Facade

(Two images)  There’s art contained in every nook, carving, curve, and shape in this building’s ultimate funk facade, including the popping pink paint, and the sleek silver semi-iridescent tiles. This is one of San Antonio’s (Texas) many beautiful buildings.

Day 319/365 – Riding the Dark Train

When a train goes through a tunnel and it gets dark, you don’t throw away the ticket and jump off. You sit still and trust the engineer. – Corrie Ten Boom

Today’s mystery “what is it?!?” image is ready for your guessing pleasure. Do you know? Can you tell?

What Is It?!?

What Was That?!? Yesterday’s Picture (Day 318)

SueBee said, “Except for the color, I’d guess some sort of machine part… old typewriter, or …. ??” Not a machine part or old typewriter, but I do like that perspective. Y. Prior guessed, “Day 318- are they Legos- the new line that has pink ones?” That would be a ding ding ding! I found these at Legoland last weekend. Purple and pink legos, yay! Jude commented, “I haven’t seen pink lego, but I’d second Y.Prior’s guess – this does look like plastic lego parts.” Double ding ding ding! Heather shared her perspective, “it has been a long time since I’ve seen legos up close… ;) could be I guess…my first thought was the side of a printer where the paper goes? or the side of the computer were the hinge is?” Now those are really interesting perspectives, too. Carissa thought, “Looks like a container of sorts with red ink or something in it….” Have you noticed that there was a machine/printer/electronic theme in the guesses? That’s indeed interesting, too.

So yes, what you saw were some of the new pink Legos. 😀

Flutter By Butterfly

I was so lucky to have this butterfly pose for me as I quickly snapped the shutter! (Six pictures)
