(Two images) The sun and the moon – two universal contrasts. The better the contrast on the moon, the better the view. The sun photograph was taken with a solar filter on my telescope, which acted as my camera’s lens.

Thanks, Tina! It’s weird doing the sun photography. For one, you’d think it would be oh-so-easy to find that huge orb, but it isn’t. Then you’re not really seeing any details … until you view the images on the computer. It’s like Christmas, you never know what you’re going to get. 🙂
