It’s that time of year here in sunny Florida where fall and spring somehow overlap and sometimes summer sneaks in for a day or two. This year the plants, trees, flowers, and wildflowers (aka “weeds”) all started blooming very early because Mother Nature just couldn’t make up her mind. One day fall, next day there’s yellow stuff (aka “nasty pollen”) everywhere, and by everywhere, that’s exactly what I mean. It falls so quickly that if you’re outside for more than 15 minutes, you’re coated with that yellow stuff too. And most likely, a sinus infection.
But such is life, an ever-changing, unpredictable, beautiful yet sometimes painful, life.
It’s actually kind of the same up here right now. But with snow. Up in the 70s, then down in the 20s, then back to the 70s and the lilies just keep coming on 🙂

I’m happy to report that I’ve seen lots of bees covered in pollen while gathering even more. One posed for me the other day! Sorry to hear about the snow. I’ll take the yellow stuff, that you can wash away.
And then wash again five minutes later. 😉
