Day 228/365

Painting is silent poetry, and poetry is painting that speaks. – Plutarch

Today’s mystery “what is it?!?” picture evolved into an abstract vision. The change to black and white was dramatic! Do you know? Can you tell?

What Is It?!?

What Was That?!? Yesterday’s Picture (Day 227)

Is it a peach? Not a peach, but it sure looks like one to me. And then I had two more guesses of a peach, but it’s still not a peach. Is it a tennis ball or other sports ball? Not a ball at all. So what was it?

What you saw was part of a Magnolia flower, this is after the petals have fallen off. Furry and peachy! 😉

  2. And here I was all set to guess this was a picture of the infamous Nessie. A flower, a sea dragon. It’s easy to get confused between the two. I also thought it looked a bit like a puppy’s ear… Sigh, I guess I’m in a fauna rather than a flora mood. I also like your new purple hat. It turns you into a flower!

    1. A sea dragon, now I like that. If I ever find one, you can bet I will take many pictures! A puppy’s ear, it does kind of look like that. Thanks about the purple hat! 🙂 hmmmm, sounds like I’m a poet, and don’t I know it.
